Take comfort in Freeshine...
Freeshine have since the humble beginnings in 1999 gone from being a small jamcollective to become a very active liveband, and have held a large number of gigs both in Norway and Britain.
On stage, Freeshine are an unpredictable, chaotic and animated band that leaves no division between themselves and their audience. Confiding lyrics about sorrow, loss, angst and uncertainty are brought to life by the band's musical psychosis, which spin from manic hard rock, via psychedelic drones and acoustic melancholy, through to cascades of euphoric noise.
February 20 2006 saw the release of the band's self-titled debut LP on Osito Records. The record was cut in Athletic Sound, Halden, with production assistance from Kai "Spacedoc" Andersen (Motorpsycho/Seigmen).
